Born in 1975, Alexandre Campa, Roberto’s grandson, is the restaurant’s present-day chef. From a young age, he learns from his grandfather everything he needs to know about being a chef and running a restaurant kitchen.
After graduating from the Ecole hôtelière de Genève, Alexandre works with other chefs refining his skills and knowledge. Great chefs, international hotels, pastry chefs and chocolatiers are his teachers, enriching his know-how and building on the skills learnt from his grandfather over 20 years. Expanding the restaurant’s timeless menu, Alexandre introduces his own creations, inspired by his many trips to Italy. He regularly goes to each region of the country looking for exceptional products and authentic tastes, always bringing back new ideas to satisfy the most demanding palates. His motto? Make known ‘il vero gusto italiano’.
